We are looking for a staff member to be placed at the general psychiatric reception at the University Hospital in Örebro.

The psychiatric area conducts acute and planned activities within outpatient and inpatient care. We have administration at the University Hospital Örebro, Karlskoga, Hallsberg, and Lindesberg, as well as at several service points within Örebro municipality. The psychiatric administration consists of about 60 medical administrators distributed among three unit managers.

The operational area consists of a total of approximately 85 employees, and together we have the task of strengthening the area's operations at various levels in the ongoing development work carried out by coordinating, leading, and driving overarching issues in areas such as patient safety, education, support in staffing issues, and responsibility for strengthening, following up, and coordinating various functions and roles in the psychiatric area.

The position includes the usual tasks of a medical administrator such as medical documentation, patient administration, invoicing, mail handling, and administrative support to other professional groups. The work is very varied and offers close collaboration with other medical administrators in psychiatry. Contributing to the operation's development and change projects is seen as a natural part of your work.

There is an opportunity to work remotely, but not during the introductory period and during the summer, Christmas, and New Year periods.

A medical administrator education, medical secretary training, or medical secretary education is required. You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language, be service-oriented, meticulous, and have good collaboration skills. You find it easy to create good meetings with both patients and colleagues and enjoy working in a team. You are open to development and like to work for continuous improvements in the operation and to develop in your professional role. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
